Using our favorite new creative method of foiling stamping, we’ve been able to design a beautiful Mandala style wedding suite to make Camil and Timothy’s wedding Shine!
ABOUT FOIL STAMPING
Foil stamping or pressing, (also known as foil application), is the application of metallic foil on to a solid surface by application of a heated die onto foil, making it permanently adhere to the surface below leaving the design of the dye and gives it a shiny look.
Home Gig created this Mandala embellished wedding suit using a cashmere pink and silver metallic palette for elegance. We matched the handmade fabric lined envelopes with a Peony pattern. See how your invitations can shine by using Home Gig Creative Services to create your special event invitations and paper goods!
Home Gig made a splash when we prepared for the seahorse themed Baby Shower for Kinsley Rose and mom to be Kaitlin Arga. From invitations to music, décor and favor boxes, Home Gig incorporated a tropical feel using teal and peach colors to set the tone and incorporated a seahorse graphic into the beach themed event. We designed handmade keepsake fabric envelopes to encase the pearl embellished seahorse invitations. A Diaper cake adorned with the seahorse and pearls was the center of the gift table while homemade soaps were placed into handmade favor boxes for attendees.

The Thanksgiving season is upon us and while we should be thankful all throughout the year, the holidays are a great time to think back, reflect, and enjoy the little things.
With our basic necessities of life (food, water & shelter) on top of the list, Here are just SOME of the things that Home Gig is thankful l for this year.
Family
Family is the support you can always count on, the people you can call and depend on all your life. We feel fortunate and truly blessed to have the love and closeness of our families.
Health
A very wise person once told me - “You’re health is your wealth.” Self care, balance, mediation, healthy nutrition, and exercise, it takes time but it’s worth the investment! Eivar is running 1/2 marathons to keep in shape and Lauren is practicing yoga and playing tennis.
Home
We love our homes. Its the place where we start and end our day. In our cases its our office too. This year Lauren completed well needed repairs and updates including - a new roof, windows, interior painting, installed skylights and purchased new furniture and window treatments. She also removed dead trees and overgrowth around the property to enhance thelandscape. It feels good to make this financial and emotional investments and it supports the security that comes from homeownership.
Friends
Good friends are hard to come by. Good friends encourage us, motivate us, and support us. They're the people you call in an emergency and the ones that listen to you when you need a good ear. These awesome individuals may also be the ones you have a never-ending group chat with. Friends are the people that know you better than you know yourself and come swooping in just when you need them.
New Opportunities
The chance to travel, learning new skills, creating new alliances, new ideas - a new anything! New opportunities are new potential experiences, new memories. We are always open to new opportunities at Home Gig and are Thankful for the ones that come our way. As Creatives we enjoy innovation and keeping ideas fresh. With our new Boston office in place, we are now able to service both our island and off island clients.
Happiness
Being thankful for the tiny little treasures. Appreciate the value of happiness. Be thankful for the little moments, the ones that make you smile unexpectedly or laugh uncontrollably. Stop and smell the roses life is short, live in the moment.
THANKFULLY
Lauren and Eivar
Home Gig worked with our Edgartown clients to unpack, organize, install and style their new Katama Home, easing their transition in time to enjoy the 2016 summer season.
The process of moving to a new home can be difficult for homeowners, especially when downsizing or moving to a completely new and different floor plan. This spring, Home Gig was hired by our Edgartown clients to unpack, organize and reconfigure their furniture plans when they moved from their in-town Edgartown home to an “upside down house” in Katama.
This “upside down” house was design to have the living space on the top floor and the bedrooms on the bottom floor. The added elevation allows homeowners to enjoy views from up high. The upper level also features a large deck for the family to enjoy outdoor living. The lower level contains three bedrooms including a spacious master suite with two full baths. Homes like these are not just unique and fun to look at but they capture beautiful views from the windows and deck.
Mayflower Movers facilitated this local move. They did all of the packing and heavy lifting while Homegig’s team of stylists, Lauren and Katie, picked up where they left off. Working together with the home contractor, our team collaborated inside to style and organize the home. While Home Gig was doing their magic on the interior, outside a 3 car garage, pool house, in-ground pool, outdoor kitchen and seating for an outside theater were constructed.
Utilizing the clients existing furniture, Lauren and Katie resolved the smaller floor plan by culling some of the collections, books and knickknacks and swapping out furniture pieces in the living room, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms.
After the construction was complete, Katie planted and installed the outside flowerpots and containers, while Lauren selected art work placement and styled the finishing touches.
The results were successful and the clients were thrilled with Home Gig’s creative services!
“Thank you guys so much for all the work that you did. Seriously so much gratitude coming your way for making our transition such an easy one! So great to literally come in and it feel just like home! Love love love!. Thank you guys!”
